All fun and games at Davison's Camp, Hwange, Zimbabwe
If you are in the mood for an authentic wild African
camping experience, Davisons Camp is the place to be. Situated in the
southeastern Hwange National Park, this camp beholds 9 twin en-suite tents that
are very spacious and ideal for camping with family and friends. It is set
under a shady grove of mopane trees as it overlooks plains and a trail of
elephant herds, lions, buffalo, leopard, white rhino and many other members of
the wild.
There are
various activities to partake in this camp, namely guided morning walks where
you get to see the sun rising fearlessly and just bask in its subtle rays.
There are also afternoon game drives as you tour around appreciating the wild and
lastly evening game drives which are by far the greatest of them all, you get
to look up at the thick dark blanket sky with dazzling stars and the moon as
you enjoy the soft night breeze.
There is
also bird life in Linkwasha concession, home to more than 400 bird species,
imagine that! The beautiful and hypnotizing sound of birds singing is just soul
soothing, it is literally like music to the ears.
