Chapungu Sculpture Park is indeed one of the most renowned art hubs in Zimbabwe, it boasts with a variety of unique pieces of sculpture that emits deep stories. Chapungu sculpture park is situated in Msasa, Harare, Zimbabwe, it exhibits the work of Zimbabwean stone sculptors, and its founder is Roy Guthrie who with the intention to promote the work of sculptors worldwide established it in 1970. This place is an ideal destination for art lovers.

There is a beautiful collection of different artworks which you can browse through and there are guides that will inform you about the inspiration behind each piece, the beauty of this place is that you will get to appreciate each piece in your own understanding of it. After browsing through the sculptures, Doon estate is clothed with a beautiful outdoor scenery mature with indigenous and exotic trees offering serenity at its best. You can also explore the different shops and galleries in this place which offer a variety of products from decorated fabric, wallets, bags etc. to masks, carvings and textiles from Zimbabwe and other African countries. It is a whole bag of fun; you can also get a souvenir and go for handcraft shopping and finish off your adventure with a cup of coffee and a slice of cake at the Shop Café and if you are lucky you will get to see one or two monkeys goofing around in the yard.
