Parasailing in Kariba
Parasailing is also known as parascending, paraskiing or parakiting.
At present, parasailing is being offered by a local company called Sunsports. The activity has drawn attention from both local and foreign tourists, and it is not ideal for a tourist to visit Kariba and miss the activity.
Parasailing is also a bonding activity one can do with friends, family, and even his or her own fiance.
The activity allows the participants to fly like birds over the lake Kariba, and it also provides at least 30 minutes of enjoyment in a speedboat or tender-boat.
Children below the age of 12 can either do a tandem with their siblings or with one of their parents or guardians as long as their combined weights do not exceed 100 kg.
Normally the activity is booked for most of a month before and for the booking they require information like: full name, number of people (which they refer to as pax), weights of each person ,phone number, date and preferred time (they have slots for the activity for-morning, noon, and sundowner).
