Rock Climbing Tips for Beginners

Given its grossly intimidating nature based on its requirements, the best way to learn its techniques is to observe techniques by good climbers.

 

Straight arms are happy arms

Arm straightening allows the skeleton to take most of the weight instead of the muscles, the slightest of bends automatically implies that your muscles are holding your body which is not as effective

 

Climb with your eyes

Eyes should always be focused on the wall to find holds that offer a quick rest.

 

Focus /Use your hips

Keep one hip pushed up against the wall as it helps keep your body weight over your feet to let one lean with straight arms.

 

When you find a good rest, use it

Allow your pulse and yourself to slow down so that they don’t get pumped.
