How to get here from Harare: 

Travel by using Enterprise Road, passing through Newlands and Chisipite .Continue until you approach the tollgates. Distances are from the tollgates is 0.2 KM turn left on the (A13) Shamva Road; 15.4 KM pass Ewanrigg turnoff on the right, 21.6 KM reach Bally Vaughn entrance on the left. Travel for a further 44.0 KM until you reach reach Murmurgwe rock art turnoff on the left.

There is dam on the Umwindsi River close to the right-hand side of the road, or the Lion’s Head to your left. Turn off the road to the left, 50 metres before the layby on the right, towards a large boulder that lays 100 metres from the road. There will be paintings at the base of these large boulders facing the national road.

Key Note : The national road (A13) to Shamva is in immaculate condition.
