Sinamatella Camp
The camp is approximately 120 km from Main Camp. Vehicles are not allowed to travel between the camps after 1400hrs. Sinamatella is an intensive protection zone (IPZ).
Sinametella is perched on a rocky outcrop 55m high overlooking a grassy plain and riverbed, offering a wonderful view. Their accommodation consists of “lodges” – fully equipped self-catering units nicely spaced, serviced daily and with their own braai, or a campsite on one end of the camp. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar are no longer operating and fuel is not available (the closest fuel is Hwange town, approximately 45kms way). The picnic site at Mandavu dam is not to be missed, especially for a late lunch and sundowners. Visitors can happily recommend a stay at Sinametella for those self-drivers wanting peace and quiet and something more upmarket than camping. Thumbs up for Sinametella
