Hook, line, and sinker! For all the fishing fanatics Lake Chivero is the place to be! Lake Chivero is a reservoir on the Manyame River in Zimbabwe. It was formerly called Lake McIlwaine in memory of Sir Robert McIlwaine, it is located southwest of Harare, it provides the main water supply for the city.
Lake Chivero prides itself with an endless range of activities as it is designed in such a versatile setup which allows unlimited exploration. For those who appreciate beautiful scenery, there are options like game viewing available where you can feed your eyes with beauty until they bulge out with satisfaction. You can also discover the Picasso in you as there is an opportunity to do rock painting, whether it’s just scribbles or beautiful art, wouldn’t it be nice to leave your mark in history?
There are many other activities to venture in such as boating and canoeing where you get to cruise through dazzling crystal water and feel the cool breeze blowing against your skin, simply amazing!
