2022 Kariba International Tiger Fish Tournament
Kariba is hosting the 61St edition of the Kariba International Tiger Fish Tournament from the 26 -28 October 2022 and the lake entry timetable states that the lake opens on 22 October at 06:00 for practice and competition purposes into the days of the competition.
The tournament timetable is as follows:
Wednesday 26th October- 0600-1630hours
Thursday 27th October-0600-1630hours
Friday 28th October-0600-1630hours
The tournament rules are as follows:
Any team competing in the tournament may only use a maximum of two boats during the practice period and for the duration of the tournament
This is an annual event that takes place on Lake Kariba in the month of October for three days.
The rule of the tournament states that whoever catches the largest tiger fish from 10kgs gets the price of the year and the prices do differ annually.
