Chizarira National Park, a national park in Zimbabwe's northern region, is not usually visited due to its remote position, despite the fact that it contains a healthy wildlife population and some magnificent landscapes that anyone can freely enjoy.
In addition to the majority of the anticipated plains animals, Chizarira National Park is home to megafauna, including the African elephant, lion, leopard, and Cape buffalo.

There are also numerous smaller wildlife species, such as the klipspringer, which is known for its ability to survive in nearly vertical rocky outcrops.
The name Chizarira comes from the Batonka word Chijalila, which means "a great barrier," a reference to the imposing Zambezi Escarpment, of which Chizarira’s mountains and hills form a portion.
The terrain is rugged, with jagged mountains deeply incised by gorges and ravines.
In between, in the valleys and the odd open plain, you'll find lush vegetation fed by clear natural springs.
The following are some of the things to do or see in the Chizarira National Park.
