A sneak peek of Chizarira National Park, Zimbabwe

Chizarira National Park is one of the notable wonders in Zimbabwe, situated on top of the great Zambezi escarpment in the northwestern part of Zimbabwe it boasts with flora and fauna infused with spectacular gorges, plateaus, forestry and flood plains which make it an ideal destination for traveler exploration. The terrain is clothed with numerous subjects of adventure.

The park is within the most remote area surrounded by a vast wilderness which is perfect for camping and gorge hiking. Furthermore, the park offers the opportunity for endless exploration as it allows for Mucheni view and lake Kariba view, plateaus, flood plains, walking Safaris, game drives, scenic viewing, bird watching and the most enjoyable one of them all a view of the Big 5 except for Rhinos. The terrain is vast with leopards and there is a variety of herbivores.

We all know that it ceases to be a full National Park experience if it does not accommodate picnics, so bring a bag full of munchies because this beautiful place deserves to be absorbed while sitting peacefully for a full-blown safari effect.
