Symptoms of Sunburn

Sunburn is a burn on skin that is usually caused by excess exposure to the sun’s rays. Its symptoms are not usually permanent but despite this ,damage to skin is not an issue to be taken lightly as sunburn is cumulative and can develop into serious long term health diseases that may include skin cancer.

Contrary to the myth that most of the dark-skinned demography doesn’t get sunburnt ,it has been found that they will still burn and are still culpable to sun induced damage such as sunspots, skin cancer and wrinkles.

It of utmost importance that everyone is one the watch on the amount of time spent in contact with direct light, which is why we feel its important for everyone to be on the lookout to protect yourself.

Possible symptoms of sunburn include:

1.     Skin that is oversensitive to touch

2.     Blisters (particularly those that develop periods later ,after spending a day in the sun)

3.     Sun poisoning that can also be referred to as severe reactions that include fever, nausea, or rash.
